SEND Teaching Assistant (Unqualified)

Chorley | £109 per day | Term Time Only | 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are looking for a compassionate and dependable SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across schools in the Chorley area. This role is particularly suited to individuals with hands-on experience in care settings who are confident providing personal care and supporting complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Support students with complex needs within the classroom environment
• Assist with personal care where required
• Promote independence, engagement, and positive behaviour
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to support learning and development

Role Details

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am - 3:30pm
• Term time only
• £109 per day

About You

• Experience in care work, support work, or a similar setting
• Personal experience supporting individuals with additional needs (desirable)
• Comfortable providing personal care
• Patient, resilient, and adaptable
• Passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives
