Axcis Education is recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work across a range of specialist SEND schools in Swindon. We have full-time and part-time positions available, with flexible working patterns to suit your availability.

The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant

We're looking for candidates who:

• Are energetic, creative, and enjoy engaging with children and young people.
• Have experience working with pupils with SEND, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, or other additional needs.
• Are committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.
• Work well as part of a supportive team and are eager to learn and develop professionally.
• Have a positive attitude and a genuine passion for inclusive education.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday during term time only.
• Typical hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm.
• Flexible days available to fit around your schedule.
• No weekend work required.

Requirements

• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable, particularly within SEND settings, schools, care, youth work, or support roles.
