Senior Account Manager – IT Solutions

Central London | Office-Based

£55,000 – £75,000 Basic Salary + Commission + Benefits

We are working with a highly successful and rapidly growing IT solutions and services provider that is looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join its London-based sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional who thrives on building strong client relationships, growing existing accounts and identifying new revenue opportunities within the technology sector.

The business provides a broad portfolio of IT infrastructure and services, including cloud, managed services, software licensing, networking and security, professional services, server & storage and end-user computing.

The Role

As Senior Account Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of customers, developing long-term strategic relationships and increasing revenue across a wide range of IT solutions.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing and growing a portfolio of existing B2B accounts
• Identifying opportunities to increase account spend and introduce additional solutions
• Building strong relationships with key decision-makers and senior stakeholders
• Developing and executing account growth strategies
• Identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across IT infrastructure and services
• Working closely with pre-sales, technical and delivery teams to develop tailored customer solutions
• Managing the full sales cycle from initial opportunity through to close
• Maintaining accurate pipeline and forecasting information
• Attending customer meetings and developing trusted-adviser relationships
• Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue and GP targets

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager / Account Manager with a strong background within the IT, technology, MSP, VAR or solutions-led environment.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience managing and growing B2B technology accounts
• A strong understanding of IT solutions and services
• Experience selling solutions such as managed services, cloud, networking, security, hardware or software
• A proven track record of achieving sales and GP targets
• Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
• The confidence to engage with senior-level stakeholders
• A consultative approach to account management
• Strong new business and account development instincts
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A driven, ambitious and target-focused mindset
