Job Description:

A highly respected and growing privately-owned engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer / Associate Director to play a key role in the continued growth and leadership of the business.

The Role

You will lead and manage structural engineering projects across a diverse portfolio, working closely with clients, design teams, and internal stakeholders while helping to shape the future direction of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading structural design and delivery across multiple projects
• Managing client relationships and developing new business opportunities
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technicians
• Overseeing technical standards and project quality
• Working collaboratively with civil and BIM teams
• Supporting business growth and contributing strategically at senior level

Projects are varied and include work across commercial, industrial, residential, and mixed-use sectors.

About You

• Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or similar
• Chartered Engineer status preferred (or working towards)
• Strong background in structural design and project delivery
• Experience managing clients and leading teams
• Proficient with relevant structural design software
• Commercial awareness and strong communication skills
• Ambitious, proactive, and keen to contribute at leadership level
