Job Description:

Senior Business Development Manager - MSP / Cyber Security

Location: Fleet, Hampshire - Hybrid
Salary: £40,000-£55,000 base + uncapped commission
OTE: £70,000-£90,000+

We are working with a growing technology services business looking to add a Business Development Manager to its commercial team.

The business operates across managed IT, cyber security and emerging technology services, with particular growth around Cyber Security.

This is a new business role, but just as importantly, it is an opportunity to work directly with a highly experienced, hands-on sales leader who has a strong track record of developing outbound salespeople.

If you have the right attitude, work ethic and appetite to improve, you do not need to be the finished article.

The role

You will be responsible for:

• Generating new business through outbound activity
• Building relationships with senior IT and business decision makers
• Managing opportunities from first conversation through to close
• Selling managed IT, cyber security and wider technology services
• Building and maintaining a strong pipeline
• Working closely with technical and delivery teams throughout the sales process

You will also benefit from inbound opportunities alongside your own outbound activity.

What we're looking for

Ideally, you will have 2+ years' experience within one of the following:

• MSP / MSSP
• Cyber Security business
• Technology vendor
• IT distributor
• IT services provider

Previous new business experience is important, but mindset matters just as much.

We are looking for someone who is coachable, competitive, comfortable picking up the phone and genuinely wants to develop their outbound sales skills.
