Senior Content Creator - Marketing 

Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Commutable from Ripon, Harrogate, Knaresborough, York, Wetherby, Boroughbridge

Full time office based initially – Working Monday to Friday (hybrid would be considered after probation)

About the Role

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are seeking a creative and driven Senior Content Creator to take ownership of the content strategy and help establish the brand as a thought leader for a company based near Ripon in North Yorkshire

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with exceptional writing skills, a strong eye for visual storytelling, and a passion for creating engaging B2B content. You will be responsible for developing compelling content across multiple channels, covering industry trends, ingredient sourcing, sustainability, innovation, and market developments.

The ideal candidate will be curious, commercially aware, and confident in creating content that resonates with formulators, buyers, and other industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the company's content strategy, ensuring alignment with wider marketing and commercial objectives.
• Research and write authoritative, engaging content on industry trends, ingredient sourcing, market developments, and related topics.
• Create visual content including graphics, layouts, imagery, presentations, reports, and advertising materials using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
• Plan, create, publish, and optimise content across digital channels, including websites, blogs, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
• Create and schedule social media content with a focus on professional and B2B engagement.
• Develop and manage email marketing campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp.
• Maintain and update website content using WordPress.
• Use AI tools to support research, planning, drafting, and content development while ensuring all published content reflects genuine expertise and editorial quality.
• Identify and develop content opportunities linked to industry trends, market developments, and business growth initiatives.
• Monitor content performance and use insights to continually improve engagement and effectiveness.
• Optimise content for SEO and emerging AI-driven search experiences.
• Contribute to broader marketing initiatives and support business growth objectives.

About You

You will be a creative professional with a passion for content creation and storytelling, combining excellent writing skills with strong visual design capabilities.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in content marketing, copywriting, content creation, design, or a related field.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to write confidently and credibly on technical or industry-focused topics.
• Strong design and visual storytelling skills.
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
• Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, and social media management platforms.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality content.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.
• Experience using AI tools to support content creation while maintaining strong editorial standards.

Desirable Skills

• Experience creating content for a B2B audience.
• Background in ingredients, FMCG, manufacturing, beauty, wellness, or related sectors.
• Understanding of AI search, large language models (LLMs), and the future of content discovery.
• Video editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software.
