Senior Contracts Manager - Commercial Gas Bias

Up to 70K + Company Car

Essex based company. 

Overview

We’re working with a leading building services provider to recruit a Senior Contract contracts manager from a commercial gas bias. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on winning business, pricing maintenance contracts, and driving technical excellence across commercial HVAC and M&E services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary Technical Support team
• Carry out site surveys, pricing, and securing maintenance contracts
• Act as the technical authority across HVAC, plant rooms, and energy centres
• Deliver contract compliance, profitability, and service quality
• Manage contract reviews, renewals, and client relationships
• Support small works design, specifications, and technical delivery
• Conduct audits, fault-finding, and performance optimisation
• Ensure compliance with H&S, SFG20, and industry regulations
• Clear progression to Head of Technical Support
• Strategic, leadership-level position with client exposure

What We’re Looking For

• Strong technical background in commercial M&E / HVAC
• Experience managing maintenance contracts and engineering teams
• Proven ability in quotations, surveys, and business development
• Knowledge of SFG20, compliance, and contract delivery
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
• HNC/HND or Level 3 trade qualification (or similar)
