Senior Databricks Technical Engineer

As a Senior Databricks Technical Engineer, you'll design and build scalable data platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop analytics solutions that drive better decision-making and operational performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Databricks and SQL.

• Transform and curate data from multiple sources into high-quality datasets.

• Develop dashboards and visualisations that deliver actionable insights.

• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.

• Ensure data quality, governance and security standards are met.

• Collaborate with technical teams to optimise platform performance, scalability and cost efficiency.

• Contribute to best practices, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in Databricks.

• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.

• Knowledge of data lakehouse architectures and modern analytics platforms.

• Experience designing data models and supporting reporting tools such as Power BI.

• Understanding of data governance, security and data quality principles.

• Strong stakeholder management, communication and Agile delivery experience.
