Are you an experienced Senior Diagnostic Technician seeking a new opportunity within a reputable independent garage in Kettering? Our client is looking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Diagnostic Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an ideal role for a professional with a proven track record in vehicle diagnostics and repairs, seeking to work in a modern environment with supportive colleagues.

Duties of a Senior Diagnostic Technician:

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Service, maintain, and repair vehicles across all makes and models, including hybrid and electric vehicles
• Specialise in AC/HVAC cooling systems and EV technology
• Carry out MOT preparation and repair work adhering to industry standards
• Support and mentor junior technicians when required
• Complete repairs efficiently within the set timeframes and maintain high quality standards

Requirements of a Senior Diagnostic Technician:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Diagnostic Technician
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Previous experience within a main dealer or independent garage environment
• Experience with EV systems and AC/HVAC cooling systems is desirable
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
