Job Description:

Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Design & Technical Delivery (RIBA Stages 2-5) £70,000 - £80,000 DOE · Central London   
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team, supporting the delivery of technically complex projects from early design through to construction and completion.
This is a design-focused role requiring someone who understands electrical building services, technical coordination and the journey from concept design through to detailed construction information.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design input across projects from RIBA Stage 2 through Stage 5
• Develop electrical design solutions, specifications and technical reports
• Produce and review electrical drawings, schematics and design information
• Undertake technical reviews and support design coordination
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams
• Assist with tender packages, technical submissions and construction information
• Review contractor proposals, technical queries and design changes
• Provide technical support during construction and handover phases
• Ensure designs meet project requirements, regulations and industry standards

Experience Required

• Strong electrical building services design background
• Experience working through RIBA Stage 4/5 detailed design and construction
• Confident interpreting and reviewing drawings and technical documents
• Understanding of electrical systems including LV distribution, lighting, power, containment and associated systems
• Experience within commercial, critical infrastructure, data centres or complex projects advantageous
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and project teams
