Job Description:

Location: Devonport Docks, Plymouth
Job Type: Contract / Permanent (flexible depending on candidate)

We are currently seeking an experienced Section Engineer or Senior Engineer to join a major project at Devonport Docks in Plymouth for an engineer who holds an Appointed Person ticket and a Temporary Works Coordinator Ticket to coordinate CAD and engineering tasks as well as assisting on lift plans and temporary works. 

• Previous experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer on major infrastructure or heavy civils projects
• TWC (Temporary Works Coordinator) ticket – essential
• AP (Authorised Person) ticket – essential
• Strong background in reinforced concrete, marine, or heavy civils works
• Proven ability to manage site activities and engineering teams
• Competent in interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Experience working in nuclear, defence, or highly regulated environments
• Knowledge of Devonport, dockyard, or marine-based projects
• Familiarity with Tier 1 contractors or large-scale infrastructure schemes
