Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000
Location: Crawley
Remote/Hybrid working available

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a respected multidisciplinary consultancy based in Crawley. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of infrastructure, commercial, residential, and energy projects across the South East.

The successful Senior Geotechnical Engineer will take a leading role in project delivery, geotechnical design, mentoring junior staff, and client management. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to progress within a growing and technically strong team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead geotechnical investigations and project delivery
• Produce and review factual and interpretative reports
• Undertake geotechnical design including foundations, retaining structures, and slope stability
• Mentor and support junior engineers
• Liaise directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Assist with business development and client relationships

Requirements:

• Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
• Significant experience within geotechnical engineering
• Strong technical reporting and design experience
• Experience managing projects and mentoring staff
• Chartered or working towards Chartership is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
