The Role
As Senior Health & Safety Manager, you will:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of Health & Safety systems, policies, and procedures
- Promote a positive, proactive safety culture across all departments
- Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented
- Deliver training, coaching, and guidance to managers and employees
- Investigate incidents and implement preventative measures and lessons learned
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice
- Work closely with senior leadership to drive engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as the key point of contact for regulatory bodies and external audits
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a senior Health & Safety leadership role within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
- Someone who understands that effective Health & Safety is about culture, behaviours, and leadership - not just paperwork
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skills
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

- 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday finish at 3:30pm
