Are you an experienced HR professional looking for your next opportunity within an established and growing organisation?
We are currently supporting a well-established business with the appointment of a Senior HR Advisor to join their existing HR team.
This is a hands-on HR position with a strong focus on Employee Relations, working closely with managers and stakeholders to provide practical advice and support across a varied workforce.
The role would suit an experienced HR professional who enjoys managing their own caseload, providing guidance to managers and taking ownership of HR matters from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doing
β Managing a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including absence, disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance
β Providing practical HR advice and guidance to managers
β Supporting managers with employment law, HR processes and best practice
β Providing guidance and support to a more junior member of the HR team
β Building strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders
β Supporting HR activity across multiple sites when required
β Assisting with organisational change and restructuring
β Reviewing and improving HR processes and procedures
β Supporting HR projects and wider people initiatives`
β Assisting with HR policy development and implementation
β Supporting HR reporting, systems and people data
β Providing wider operational support to the HR function
What We're Looking For
π‘ Previous experience working within an HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor position
π‘ Strong Employee Relations experience with the ability to manage cases independently
π‘ Experience dealing with disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability and performance matters
π‘ Confidence advising and coaching managers
π‘ Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
π‘ Experience supporting or mentoring junior HR colleagues
π‘ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
π‘ Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
π‘ CIPD Level 5 or above is desirable
π‘ Full UK driving licence
