Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Our client has a network of offices and their York office is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering design services, ensuring that all projects adhere to industry standards and regulations.

As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee the production of technical drawings, calculations, and specifications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions while offering mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers. Your role will also involve maintaining high technical standards and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include planning and prioritizing work effectively, managing resource demands, and ensuring smooth project delivery through proactive coordination with colleagues.

About you:

• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Has at least 5 years UK experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on complex project delivery.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status with a recognized professional body.
• Demonstrates proficiency with industry-standard software for structural analysis and design.
• Possesses strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Is an effective communicator, both in writing and verbally, able to engage with clients and team members alike.
• Holds a valid UK driving licence.
