Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor

I am currently partnering with one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 main contractors to find a highly skilled Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor for an upcoming flagship project.

The Role

You will be driving the commercial performance of major mechanical and electrical packages from procurement through to final account.

• Cost Management: Managing, monitoring, and forecasting costs for large-scale M&E packages.
• Procurement: Sourcing and onboarding specialist MEP subcontractors.
• Commercial Control: Managing variations, early warning notices, claims, and finalizing accounts.
• Collaboration: Working closely with the project delivery and engineering teams to ensure commercial viability, quality, and risk mitigation.

What We Are Looking For

• A proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor operating specifically within the M&E and Building Services sector.
• Previous experience working with a main contractor or a large specialist MEP subcontractor.
• Strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of standard forms of contract (NEC/JCT).
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline (preferred but not essential for the right experience).

Location: London 

Salary: £90 - 100k + Car Allowance + Travel + Package
