About the Opportunity
Copello is partnering with a leading organisation within the defence and aerospace sector to recruit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for their site in Glenrothes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturing team working on advanced, mission-critical products that support defence capabilities across land, sea, air, space, and cyber domains.

What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting product performance and manufacturing process improvement
Carrying out reporting and data analysis activities
Providing technical support to internal and external customers
Driving innovation across engineering and manufacturing activities
Leading and supporting root cause and corrective action investigations
Supporting manufacturing cells and cross-functional engineering teams
Contributing to Design for Manufacturability (DFM), New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing process development
Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, metrics and production data
What We’re Looking For
Minimum HND or Degree in a relevant discipline (STEM, Production or Manufacturing Engineering)
Experience within electronics manufacturing
Strong understanding of process improvement, efficiency and lean manufacturing principles
Experience leading or contributing to Process FMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow development and risk mitigation activities
Exposure to multiple manufacturing platforms
Confident technical presentation skills
Background within engineering, manufacturing or defence environments (desirable)
Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
A proactive team player who can work independently and challenge the status quo when required

Working Environment
