The Opportunity
An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a Senior Process Engineer to join a leading engineering consultancy supporting a major UK infrastructure programme. This is a chance to play a key role in delivering technically challenging projects with long term impact.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Take ownership of process engineering deliverables across assigned project scopes, ensuring high technical standards
• Investigate and resolve complex engineering challenges, developing practical and innovative solutions
• Prepare and review key engineering outputs including calculations, reports, and design documentation
• Ensure all work aligns with relevant safety legislation, technical standards, and quality requirements
• Provide guidance and support to less experienced engineers, promoting best practice across the team

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Demonstrable experience delivering process engineering work within regulated industries
• Background working on design phases including feasibility, FEED or detailed engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to work autonomously
• Chartered status achieved or actively progressing towards professional accreditation
