Job Description:

Senior Quantity Surveyor – HV / Utilities / Grid Connections
Location: South West (Hybrid – WFH 2 days p/w)
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + £6k Car Allowance + 20% Bonus

An established and rapidly growing infrastructure business is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high voltage (HV), grid connection and utilities projects across the South West.

With 100% year-on-year revenue growth and a newly established regional office, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business at a key stage of expansion, offering long-term progression and real influence within the commercial team.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full commercial lifecycle across HV / utilities projects
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor packages
• Administer contracts including NEC (3 & 4), Option A/E, FIDIC Yellow Book and bespoke agreements
• Oversee cost control, variations, and change management
• Work closely with operational teams across both civil and electrical elements
• Support commercial reporting and project performance

👤 About You

• Experience operating at Senior QS level (or ready to step up)
• Background in utilities, infrastructure, civils, electrical or industrial projects
• Exposure to grid connections / HV / ICP-type projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and cost management
• Comfortable working in a growing, non-corporate environment where flexibility is key
