Job Description:

Location: West London
I'm working with a leading civil engineering contractor looking to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a major rail infrastructure project.

This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a high-profile project, managing complex civil engineering packages as part of an established commercial team.

• Manage the commercial delivery of allocated work packages.
  
• Oversee subcontract procurement, negotiations and subcontractor accounts.
  
• Manage applications for payment, valuations and cash flow forecasting.
  
• Identify, assess and manage compensation events, variations and change.
  
• Monitor project costs, forecasts and overall commercial performance.
  
• Work closely with operational teams to manage commercial risks and maximise value.
  
• Ensure contractual compliance, including the administration of NEC contracts.
  

• Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or major infrastructure.
  
• Strong subcontract management and procurement experience.
  
• Good working knowledge of NEC contracts.
  
• Experience managing complex work packages on large-scale projects.
  
• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and communication skills.
