This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the commercial management of a varied portfolio of construction projects, with genuine autonomy, responsibility and scope to make an impact.

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
Supporting, developing and mentoring junior commercial team members.
Ensuring effective commercial handover and project close-out.

Project types include:
Refurbishment and alteration works.
Commercial and specialist fit-out.
Roofing projects.
Planned and reactive maintenance.
Selected new-build developments.
The division operates across a range of construction sectors and procurement routes, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to broaden your commercial experience.
About You
We are looking for a confident and capable Senior Quantity Surveyor who can demonstrate strong commercial judgement, excellent contractual knowledge and the ability to manage projects autonomously.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience working for a regional or national main contractor.
A proven track record of managing the commercial aspects of construction projects.
Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract.
Experience with subcontract procurement, valuations, forecasting and final accounts.
An understanding of frameworks, negotiated projects and two-stage procurement.
Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
The ability to identify commercial risks and opportunities and take a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Candidates currently operating as a Project Quantity Surveyor and ready to take the next step into a senior position will also be considered.
Experience within refurbishment, fit-out, maintenance, roofing or wider building works would be particularly advantageous.
A relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification is desirable. RICS or CIOB membership, or working towards chartership, would be welcomed.
You'll be joining a close-knit commercial team where your contribution will be valued and where you will have the opportunity to influence the continued growth of the division.
