About the Role

Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing, customer-focused business for a Senior Sales Executive to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and work towards a Sales Management position.

The role will involve managing inbound enquiries, understanding individual customer requirements, providing tailored solutions and guiding customers through the sales process from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.

You'll take a consultative approach to sales, focusing on delivering an excellent customer experience rather than working in a high-volume cold-calling environment. Alongside your sales responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership and management skills through structured training, mentoring and increased responsibility, with a clear pathway towards a future management position.

You'll be joining a friendly and collaborative team where your experience will be valued and your development actively supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert inbound enquiries into confirmed bookings and maximise sales opportunities
• Handle customer enquiries with professionalism, confidence and care
• Prepare tailored quotes and manage bookings using CRM systems
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver an excellent sales experience
• Support and mentor less experienced members of the sales team
• Share knowledge, best practice and ideas to help improve team performance
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
• Take on additional leadership responsibilities as part of your management development
• Work towards progression into a Sales Manager role

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within a phone or email-based environment
• Experience of managing the full sales process from enquiry through to conversion
• Confident communication skills with a professional, personable approach
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Experience using CRM systems and preparing tailored quotes
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• A positive, proactive attitude and genuine desire to help customers
• Someone who enjoys supporting colleagues and sharing their knowledge
• Ambition to progress into a Sales Management position
• A willingness to undertake training and develop leadership and management skills
