Job Description:
The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will take responsibility for the successful technical delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works, overseeing day-to-day engineering activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Senior Site Engineer Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day engineering delivery of water treatment and associated civil engineering works.
- Leading and supporting Site Engineers and subcontractors.
- Reviewing drawings and specifications and resolving technical queries with the design team.
- Navigating and interpreting CAD drawings.
- Setting out and checking works, including levels, coordinates, and dimensions.
- Managing inspections, ITPs, QA documentation, and as-built records.
- Providing technical input into RAMS and construction methodologies.
Senior Site Engineer Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Engineer on water, utilities, or heavy civil engineering projects.
- Strong background in structures, reinforced concrete, pipelines, and water treatment infrastructure.
- Good knowledge of ASP, FSP, and Structures.
- Confident ability to navigate and interpret CAD drawings.
- Good understanding of QA procedures, programme management, and construction delivery processes.
- Relevant engineering qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
