A well-established Midlands main contractor is looking to appoint a Senior Site Manager for a landmark £140m high-rise Build-to-Rent scheme in Birmingham.
This is a major multi-room development and a flagship project within a strong pipeline of secured Midlands work. You will be operating as the Number 2 on site, reporting directly to the Project Manager and playing a key role in the operational delivery of the scheme.

Large-scale multi-room / apartment scheme
Major structural and complex build programme
2-year duration with strong continuity of work beyond
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you will:
Support the Project Manager in overall site operations
Take responsibility for key packages and daily site activity
Lead and coordinate subcontractors
Drive programme, quality and health & safety performance
Manage logistics and sequencing on a high-rise scheme
Chair subcontractor meetings and manage short-term programmes
Mentor Site Managers and Engineers where required

What We’re Looking For
Proven experience on multi-room / apartment / high-rise schemes
Experience delivering large commercial or residential projects
Strong knowledge of programme management and sequencing
Confident managing subcontractors on complex builds
Ambitious and looking to progress within a growing contractor

SMSTS (in date)
CSCS (Black or White Card preferred)
First Aid at Work (in date)
