Job Description:

Senior Site Manager wanted for this leading niche high specification developer.

If you are seeking a developer who show the upmost attention to detail and delivery some truly memorable developments then this could be for you.
As the No1 on site you will be responsible for leading the development to its conclusion overseeing all works on site and making sure each unit is finished to the highest quality. 

Key Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations on site, ensuring trade contractors work efficiently to meet the construction programme.
• Health & Safety: Maintain stringent health, safety, and environmental standards, conducting regular site inductions, tool-box talks, and risk assessments.
• Quality Control: Monitor the quality of workmanship closely, managing the snagging and de-snagging process to deliver flawless handovers.
• Reporting: Work closely with the visiting Contracts Manager to report on progress, milestones, and any logistical challenges.
• Subcontractor Management: Coordinate weekly sub-contractor meetings, resolving any design, material, or labor dependencies swiftly.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must come from a dedicated residential house-building background, with proven experience managing projects of a similar scale (80+ units).

• Essential Certifications: Valid CSCS card (Black Card preferred), SMSTS, and First Aid at Work.
• Experience: Strong track record in new-build residential schemes, with a deep understanding of both traditional build structures and internal fit-outs/finishes.
• Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Commitment: Ability to commit to a 12-month freelance contract based full-time in Guildford.
