Some projects need more than a good Site Manager. They need someone who really knows how to build.An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a highly respected specialist contractor delivering a prestigious £40m super-prime residential refurbishment in Soho. Our client has an established reputation for delivering exceptional private residences across London's most exclusive addresses, undertaking complex structural refurbishments and producing finishes of the highest quality. This is a site-based position on a substantial two-year project, offering the opportunity to work with an experienced construction team, leading architects and specialist subcontractors.
The Role
As Senior Site Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of the project, ensuring works are properly planned, coordinated and executed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing daily site operations, construction activities and specialist subcontractors
• Overseeing complex structural alterations, temporary works and refurbishment packages
• Coordinating construction sequences, site logistics and short-term programmes
• Working closely with architects, consultants and the wider project team
• Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, quality and workmanship
• Managing the transition from structural works through to high-specification finishes
• Ensuring exceptional attention to detail throughout construction and handover

 
About You

We're looking for an experienced, technically strong Senior Site Manager who understands the challenges of delivering high-end residential refurbishment projects in Central London.
 
Ideally, you'll have:

• A proven track record delivering super-prime or high-end residential refurbishments
• Experience working for established specialist contractors or high-quality main contractors
• Excellent technical construction knowledge, ideally developed through a trade or hands-on site background
• Experience managing complex structural works, temporary works and challenging existing buildings
• The confidence to lead site teams and coordinate highly skilled specialist trades
• A practical, collaborative approach to problem-solving
• A genuine appreciation of craftsmanship and exceptional finishing standards
• Relevant site management qualifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
