Senior Substation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Substation Manager to lead the delivery of HV substation projects across Ireland. This role will oversee installation and pre-commissioning activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a permanent position with a leading grid infrastructure business.

Dublin 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering, site management, and supervisory teams.
• Oversee HV substation projects from construction through to handover.
• Manage project planning, resourcing, and performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Provide technical leadership across installation, testing, and pre-commissioning activities.
• Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years' experience in HV substation construction, installation, or commissioning.
• Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of HV substations and energy infrastructure projects.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered status and HV certifications are advantageous.
