Service Coordinator

Leighton Buzzard | Office Based

Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm

£28,000 - £32,500 depending on experience

 

Are you an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys coordinating people, managing schedules and keeping customers updated?


We’re recruiting a Service Coordinator to join a friendly, close-knit team within a successful specialist service business based in Leighton Buzzard.


This is a varied role where you’ll be at the heart of the day-to-day operation, coordinating planned and reactive jobs for field-based engineers, maintaining accurate contract information and providing excellent service to customers.

 

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and booking planned maintenance and reactive service visits
• Managing diaries and calendars for a team of Field Service Engineers
• Liaising with customers by telephone and email regarding jobs and service visits
• Processing and checking customer purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate maintenance contract and scheduling information
• Collating and checking engineers' job reports
• Identifying jobs where follow-up repair quotations are required
• Updating site and risk assessment information

 

About you

You'll ideally have previous experience within an administration, service coordination, scheduling or customer service position.

 

Previous experience scheduling engineers, technicians, maintenance teams or other field-based employees would be particularly useful, but isn't essential.

 

You'll also have:

• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A confident and friendly telephone manner
• The ability to manage several tasks and changing priorities
• Good attention to detail
• Confidence using Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft 365 and Teams
• A positive, reliable and proactive approach
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
