Field Service Engineer (Welding)

£35,000 - £38,000 + Door-to-Door + Van + Local Patch

Wolverhampton, West Midlands (Commutable from: Dudley, Walsall, Bilston, Willenhall, Telford, Cannock, West Bromwich, Stourbridge)

Are you a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or Field Service Engineer looking for a stable, Monday-Friday role with a local patch, no call-out rota and door-to-door pay, for a well-established engineering business?

On offer is a secure, full-time permanent position where you'll cover a local West Midlands patch, splitting your time between customer sites and the workshop, with consistent hours and plenty of long-term work.

This company are a specialist engineering supplier, known for looking after their customers through high-quality servicing and repairs. Due to continued demand, they are looking to add an additional Service Engineer to support their growing service requirements.

In this role you will service, maintain, diagnose and repair welding machinery and associated equipment, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance, with extensive training provided on the equipment.

This role would suit someone with electrical and maintenance experience, looking for a steady local patch, a good team environment and long-term security.

The Role:

• Service, maintenance and repair of welding machinery and associated equipment
• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics
• Field-based across the West Midlands with workshop-based repairs where required
• Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 with overtime available
• No out-of-hours call-out rota

The Person:

• Electrical and maintenance experience
• Electromechanical fault finding / repair experience
• Full UK driving licence
