Job Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Technician or Fast Fit Technician to join a busy automotive service centre in Rugby. Applicants must have previous hands-on vehicle servicing and repair experience, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. A Level 3 qualification is not essential, as full training and qualifications will be provided.

Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: Up to £35,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus
OTE: Up to £38,600 (including realistic £3,600 bonus)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. Saturdays 8:30am – 4:00pm on a rota, with a day off during the week.

Vehicle Technician Role

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose and repair brakes, exhausts, batteries and suspension components
• Complete tyre inspections, replacements and puncture repairs
• Operate wheel alignment equipment and make accurate adjustments
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
• Work alongside other Vehicle Technicians to maintain workshop productivity
• Ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Car Technician or Fast Fit Technician
• Practical experience in vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Good knowledge of brakes, tyres, suspension and general fast-fit repairs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to complete Level 3 and Hybrid Vehicle qualifications
• Level 3 qualification desirable but not essential
