Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

Hinckley, Leicestershire
Basic Salary: £30,991 - £35,400
OTE: £36,231 - £40,640 (including attendance allowance and up to 4 sleep-ins per month)

We're recruiting for a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join a specialist residential service supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a Senior Support Worker, you'll play a key role in providing high-quality care, leading shifts, supporting colleagues and helping young people develop the skills, confidence and resilience they need to achieve positive outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting children and young people with day-to-day care and development
• Leading shifts and supporting the wider care team
• Acting as a positive role model for young people
• Promoting safeguarding and child-centred care
• Supporting care planning and record keeping
• Building positive relationships with families and professionals
• Encouraging independence, education and personal growth

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with children and young people
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Caring, resilient and positive attitude
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Full UK Driving Licence held for at least 12 months
