Site Engineer – Anglian Water Projects

Location: East Anglia
Sector: Anglian Water Projects
Position: Site Engineer

East Anglian Site Engineering (EASE) are looking for Site Engineers to work on projects across the Anglian Water region.

We are interested in speaking with engineers with a strong setting-out background ideally with experience working on Anglian Water projects, water treatment works or sewage treatment works would be highly advantageous, although this is not essential.

The Role

As Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out for civil engineering works
• Working from engineering drawings and specifications
• Checking line, level and dimensions
• Carrying out surveys and producing as-built information
• Quality control and completion of QA documentation
• Maintaining accurate site and engineering records
• Liaising with Site Managers, subcontractors and other members of the project team
• Ensuring works are delivered accurately and in accordance with project specifications
• Supporting the safe delivery of works on operational water sites

Ideally, You Will Have

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
• Good knowledge of setting out and surveying equipment
• Experience with Leica, Trimble or similar Total Stations/GPS
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings
• Experience with drainage, pipelines, earthworks, reinforced concrete or general civils
• Good knowledge of QA and as-built documentation
• Previous Anglian Water or water-sector experience desirable but not essential
• Appropriate CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence preferred due to project locations

Anglian Water Passport

Candidates will require the appropriate passport/induction to work on Anglian Water projects.

If you already hold this, that would be advantageous. However, this is not essential at application stage as we can arrange the required course for suitable candidates.
