Site Engineer

Location: Suffolk / East Anglia

Salary: Up to £39,500 + Company Car or Car Allowance + Benefits

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Our client, a trusted provider of infrastructure and civil engineering solutions, is seeking a Site Engineer to join a major UK infrastructure programme and support the delivery of complex civil engineering works across multiple project locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career on a long-term project involving earthworks, drainage, roads, foundations, structures and major utility infrastructure.

Working as part of an experienced engineering team, you will be involved in setting out, quality assurance, technical support and the day-to-day coordination of site activities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out and engineering control activities.
• Support the safe delivery of construction and infrastructure works.
• Maintain engineering records, reports and site documentation.
• Assist with quality inspections and assurance processes.
• Provide technical support to construction teams.
• Support works including earthworks, drainage, roads, structures and foundation packages.
• Work collaboratively with project management and engineering teams.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality performance.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Site Engineer or similar engineering position.
• Experience with setting out and engineering control.
• Civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or highways project experience.
• CSCS Card.
• Construction-related qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Positive, proactive approach and willingness to learn.
