We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing groundworks team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out and engineering duties across a range of residential and commercial groundwork projects, ensuring work is delivered accurately, safely, and to programme.

• Carry out all setting out duties for groundworks and civil engineering projects.
• Interpret construction drawings and extract setting out information directly from CAD models and drawings.
• Use surveying equipment, including Leica TS16 total stations, to accurately set out works.
• Verify line and level throughout construction.
• Produce and maintain accurate site records, surveys, and as-built information.
• Liaise with site management, clients, and subcontractors to ensure works are completed to specification.
• Identify and resolve engineering issues on site.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with quality assurance and quality control processes.

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer within the groundworks or civil engineering sector.
• Demonstrable experience using Leica TS16 Total Station.
• Ability to extract coordinates and setting out information directly from CAD drawings/models.
• Strong understanding of drainage, foundations, roads, kerbing, plot works, and external works.
• Competent in reading engineering and construction drawings.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Experience with GPS/GNSS surveying equipment.
• AutoCAD knowledge.
• CSCS Card (essential).
• SMSTS or SSSTS (advantageous).
• First Aid at Work (desirable).
