Site Engineer (Monitoring Department)
Banbury
Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 + car allowance and accommodation if staying away

An excellent long-term opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a well-regarded civil engineering consultancy on a major infrastructure project near Banbury, working on the prestigious HS2 scheme. The works include extensive earthworks, tunnelling, roadworks, viaducts and bridge construction, with the programme set to run well beyond 2030.

This is an ideal move for a Site Engineer/Engineering Surveyor seeking career stability and the chance to contribute to one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.

The Role:

Joining the monitoring team, you will primarily support installation works at the Banbury site. The position is hands-on and covers a broad mix of surveying, monitoring and setting out duties across the project area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring
• Digital precise surveys
• Installing survey control
• Occasional setting out and as-builts

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card
• Experience as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
• Minimum 2 years on heavy civils projects in the UK
• Confident using a range of modern surveying instruments
• Proactive, adaptable and keen to learn new techniques
