Site Manager – Commercial Fit-Out

Location: Huyton, Liverpool

Rate: £280 per shift

Duration: Approximately 6 months

Start: Immediate / October 2026

Employment: Freelance / Contract

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a major commercial fit-out project in Huyton, Liverpool.

The project involves the full internal fit-out of a large existing shell, including a significant M&E package, partitioning, glazed screens, suspended ceilings, flooring, kitchens, toilet areas and final finishes.

The successful Site Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the site, working closely with the Project Director and ensuring the project is delivered safely, professionally and in line with programme.

Duties will include:

- Day-to-day management of the site

- Health and safety management

- RAMS, permits and toolbox talks

- Maintaining site records and documentation

- Managing and coordinating subcontractors

- Overseeing M&E packages

- Monitoring programme and progress

- Liaising with the client and project team

- Managing site visitors professionally

- Driving the project through to completion and handover

Applicants must have:

- SMSTS

- First Aid

- CSCS

- Proven Site Manager experience

- Strong commercial fit-out background

- Experience managing M&E packages

- Good understanding of health and safety requirements

- Strong communication and client-facing skills

- Ability to manage a busy site independently

Previous experience delivering office, public-sector or large commercial fit-out projects would be highly advantageous.

This is a long-term freelance opportunity with approximately six months of work available.

£280 per shift.
