Job Description:

Site Manager – Prime Residential

Location: South West London
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Type: Permanent

A specialist prime residential contractor is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join its team, delivering bespoke new-build, refurbishment, extension and basement projects across London.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and coordination of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily site operations and coordinate trades and subcontractors.
• Programme and schedule works, ensuring activities are properly sequenced and key deadlines are met.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and proactively address delays.
• Manage RFIs, coordinating responses with architects, consultants and the wider project team.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and site presentation.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries and site logistics.
• Liaise effectively with clients, architects, designers and consultants.
• Maintain strong health & safety standards.
• Oversee snagging and ensure a high-quality finish through to completion.

About You:

• Proven Site Management experience within prime residential construction.
• Ability to programme, schedule and sequence works.
• Experience managing RFIs and design queries.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and sequencing.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Confident managing subcontractors and trades.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Professional, proactive and hands-on approach.
