Site Manager
Enfield, Greater London
£300 per day | Ongoing Contract
Start Date: 5 August 2026 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the demolition of a farmhouse on a project in Enfield.

The successful candidate will manage the demolition phase, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with the programme. Following completion of the initial project, there will be an opportunity to move onto further construction projects with the same contractor.

Responsibilities

As Site Manager, your duties will include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the site
• Overseeing the demolition of the existing farmhouse
• Coordinating demolition contractors, operatives and site activities
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety requirements
• Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings
• Monitoring progress against the project programme
• Managing site documentation, permits and records
• Liaising with the project team, subcontractors and client representatives
• Identifying and resolving site issues
• Preparing the site for future construction, groundworks or earthworks packages

Requirements

Candidates must have:

• Previous Site Manager experience within general construction
• Demonstrable demolition project experience
• A valid SMSTS certificate
• A valid First Aid certificate
• A valid CSCS card
• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety
• Good subcontractor and programme management skills
• The ability to start on 5 August 2026

The following would be desirable:

• CCDO certification
• Groundworks experience
• Earthworks experience
• Experience managing enabling works or site clearance projects
