South Wales | £60,000 per annum | Permanent | Commercial Construction | Projects up to £20M

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a Tier 1 construction contractor on a permanent basis.

You will deliver commercial construction projects across Wales, with values up to £20 million.

The Role

You will manage the day-to-day delivery of construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard. You will lead site teams, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and work closely with clients and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental standards.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Manage programmes, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate trades, labour, materials and the supply chain.
• Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Liaise with clients and project teams.
• Monitor costs and minimise waste.
• Manage snagging, defects and project handover.
• Maintain professional site standards.
• Support sustainability and community objectives.

Requirements

• Proven Site Manager experience.
• Track record delivering construction projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
• Knowledge of construction programmes, drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS.
• Full UK driving licence.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
