Site Manager - Commercial New Build Towcester, Northamptonshire
Start: September 2026 Freelance / Contract Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a steel frame and glazing development near Towcester, Northamptonshire.
This is a substantial commercial construction project featuring a multi-span steel frame structure and an extensive package of large-scale glazing, requiring a Site Manager with proven experience delivering similar projects from start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day management of site operations
• Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
• Managing health & safety compliance across the project
• Liaising with project teams, suppliers and stakeholders
• Monitoring progress and resolving site issues as they arise

Requirements:

• Proven track record as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
• Experience working on steel frame buildings
• Knowledge of glazing and envelope packages would be highly advantageous
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead site teams and maintain high standards throughout delivery
