Site Supervisor – SMSTS (Hands-On / Fabrication)
Job Type: Full-time, Freelance / Contract (Outside IR35)
Salary: £320.00 per day
Supplemental Pay: £54.00 per night accommodation allowance
Schedule: Monday to Friday (No weekend work required)
Location: Nationwide travel (Requires staying away from home during the week)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable, hands-on Site Supervisor to lead high-security installation projects across the UK. This is a lucrative, long-term contract with a rapidly growing company, perfectly suited for a supervisor with a strong welding, fabrication, or mechanical installation background.
As this is a national contract with various project locations, you must be fully prepared to travel nationwide and stay away from home from Monday to Friday. A daily lodging allowance of circa £54.00 per night is provided to cover your accommodation.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Leadership: Oversee the safe, efficient, and timely on-site installation of security doors, high-security windows, and structural building security products.
• Hands-On Delivery: Act as a "working supervisor" by actively working on the tools and assisting the installation team.
• Health & Safety: Maintain strict H&S standards on-site, ensuring absolute compliance with RAMS and site regulations as the primary SMSTS holder.
• Client Liaison: Represent the company professionally on-site, acting as the main point of contact for principal contractors and project managers.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certifications: Must hold a valid SMSTS certificate.
• CSCS Card: Must hold a CSCS Gold Card (Site Supervision) or higher.
• Technical Background: Proven practical experience in welding and fabrication.
• Site Experience: Demonstrable history of supervising structural installations on busy commercial construction or engineering sites.
• Work Ethic: A proactive attitude with a total willingness to muck in alongside the team on the tools.
• Driving Licence: Full UK Driving Licence and your own transport (or willingness to travel nationwide).
