Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our busy warehouse team in Spalding.

This is a hands-on role involving the processing, treatment and packing of seed using specialist equipment. Working as part of a small team, you will help ensure production schedules are met while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety.

• Operate seed processing, treatment and packing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions accurately.
• Complete inventory and production tasks using company systems.
• Apply products and treatments in accordance with established procedures.
• Follow important health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Support team members and assist with other duties as required to meet business needs.

• Previous experience within a production, manufacturing or agricultural environment.
• Valid Forklift Licence essential.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in a demanding environment.
• Agricultural experience would be advantageous.

• Safety conscious with a positive attitude.
• Confident with numbers and has good maths skills, with the ability to complete calculations accurately.
• Able to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Flexible approach to work and changing business demands.
