Job Description:

Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a local affordable housing provider, to appoint an experienced Stock Condition and HHSRS Surveyor to their busy Assets team. 

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated surveyor to undertake comprehensive property inspections, gathering accurate stock condition data and assessing housing hazards in accordance with the Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS).

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed Stock Condition Surveys across residential properties.
• Conduct HHSRS assessments and identify Category 1 and Category 2 hazards.
• Assess the condition and remaining lifecycle of key building components, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows, doors, heating systems, and external elements.
• Capture accurate survey data using handheld devices or survey software.
• Provide clear recommendations for planned maintenance and investment programmes.
• Ensure surveys are completed in line with client specifications, quality standards, and project timescales.
• Liaise professionally with residents and housing staff during property inspections.
