Structural Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Structural Design Engineer to join a highly regarded and growing consultancy in London.

This is an ideal role for an ambitious engineer who has a genuine passion for architecture, design and the wider built environment, and who wants to be part of a forward-thinking practice where structural engineering plays an important role in shaping outstanding projects.

Working closely with experienced Senior Engineers and Associates, the successful candidate will take an active role in delivering a diverse range of projects, preparing and checking structural calculations and drawings, briefing technicians and graduates, and contributing to the wider success and growth of the practice. There will also be opportunities to attend project and site meetings, undertake inspections and surveys, and become involved in bids and fee proposals.

The role offers flexible hybrid working, a competitive salary and excellent support towards achieving Chartered status, making this a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their technical expertise while progressing their career within an ambitious consultancy.

The successful candidate will have experience in civil and structural engineering design and will already be working towards Chartership. A good understanding of the responsibilities of a Designer under the CDM Regulations, together with an appreciation of quality management procedures, is also expected.
