Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant – Penzance, Cornwall

Location: Penzance, Cornwall
Pay: From £14.50 per hour
Job Type: Flexible Agency Work – Days, Nights & Weekends

Intelligence Recruitment is recruiting experienced Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants in Penzance and surrounding areas of West Cornwall.

We work with established health and social care providers and are looking for reliable care professionals who want flexible agency shifts around their existing commitments.

What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Assistant is preferred.

Applicants should ideally have:

• Previous UK health or social care experience

• Enhanced DBS, preferably registered on the Update Service

• Mandatory care training completed within the last 12 months

• Right to work in the UK

• Good communication skills

• A reliable and professional approach

Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, supported living or complex care requirements would be beneficial.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle may increase the number of shifts available, particularly for locations outside central Penzance.
