KS1 Teaching Assistant – Full Time
Start Date: September 2026

Are you a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a welcoming primary school?

Provide Education is recruiting a full-time Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school from September. This varied role will involve a combination of general classroom support alongside providing SEND support to pupils, making every day rewarding and engaging.

The Role

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• September start
• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1
• Providing a mixture of whole-class, small group and 1:1 support
• Working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning opportunities
• Supporting children with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and reach their full potential
• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independence

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
• Has experience working with primary-aged children, ideally within Key Stage 1
• Has experience supporting children with SEND or is keen to develop within this area
• Is patient, nurturing and adaptable
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one through Provide Education
