Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in a supportive primary school?

TimePlan Education is currently working with a welcoming school in Redbridge that is looking for a confident and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced TA who can quickly settle into a classroom, build strong relationships with pupils and provide effective support from day one.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher with day-to-day teaching and learning
• Work with pupils on a one-to-one and small-group basis
• Support children with their literacy, numeracy and wider learning
• Provide targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs and SEND
• Assist with classroom activities, preparation and organisation
• Help promote positive behaviour and pupil engagement
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and encouraging classroom environment

We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
• Have a strong understanding of classroom support and pupil development
• Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be proactive, reliable and adaptable
• Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Be available to start ASAP

Experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH or additional learning needs would be advantageous.
