Role: Teaching Assistant
Location: Surbiton, London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3.00pm – 6.00pm (Part-time)

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team each afternoon. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and would like to become part of a supportive school community.

Main Duties

• Support teachers and staff with the supervision and care of children during the afternoon.
• Assist with activities, learning and play in a positive and engaging way.
• Provide individual support to children where required.
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Help prepare resources and maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
• Support children during transitions, activities and the end-of-day routine.
• Build positive relationships with children and contribute to their overall wellbeing.
• Work cooperatively with teachers and other members of the school team.
• Follow school policies and procedures, particularly those relating to safeguarding and child protection.

About You
We are looking for someone who is 

• Caring, reliable, patient and enthusiastic about working with children
• Interest in supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
• A positive team player, have good communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with children.
• Most importantly, you will be dependable and committed to working Monday to Friday, 3.00pm–6.00pm.
