Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £95 - £105 per day

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs?

Are you confident providing 1:1 support while also working effectively within the wider classroom?

Do you have a patient, adaptable and positive approach to supporting pupils across different Key Stages?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Primary School in Leeds that provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for children across multiple Key Stages. The school is committed to helping pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs engage positively with their education and reach their potential.

The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis, with both short-term and long-term opportunities available. The successful Teaching Assistant will work across multiple Key Stages, providing general classroom support alongside 1:1 support for children with a range of SEND and SEMH needs.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a primary school or educational setting
• Experience supporting children with SEND and/or SEMH needs
• Confidence providing 1:1 and general classroom support
• The ability to work effectively across different Key Stages
• A patient, positive and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
