Teaching Assistants – Sudbury | Immediate & Ongoing Opportunities

Local Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants in and around Sudbury following an increase in requirements from local primary schools.

We are looking to speak with people who are available for:

• Day-to-day and short-term TA cover
• Longer-term classroom support
• SEND and 1:1 support
• Intervention work
• Potential permanent opportunities

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working within EYFS, KS1 or KS2, although we would also like to hear from people with relevant experience from childcare, youth work, care, mentoring or other roles supporting children.

We don’t simply send candidates into whichever school happens to need someone that morning. We take the time to understand your experience, the type of environment you work best within and the pupils you are most confident supporting so that we can match you properly.

Successful applicants will ideally be:

• Confident supporting children within a classroom environment
• Patient, reliable and approachable
• Comfortable supporting pupils with differing needs
• Able to build positive relationships with children and school staff
• Committed to safeguarding and professional standards
